DandyVT is a wholesome witch VTuber who streams art and games on her Twitch channel.In 2023 I assisted with her redebut by working with her on a new brand and identity for her Twitch channel. In addition to this, I also created teasers, and an animated cinematic lore video telling the backstory of her character.

The Shenmue Dojo is a long running community of Shenmue fans. They've been around since 2001 and host the most active Shenmue forum on the internet.Co-owners Matt and James are frequent clients of mine. I've created a wide range of content for them ranging from social media images to yearly April Fools Day content.

This is the animated lore video created for DandyVT. Using a mixture of Adobe After Effects and DaVinci Resolve, I brought Dandy's sketches to life through animation and sound design.

Shenmue Mania - April Fools 2021
For this video, I pitched the idea of making a recreation of the classic Sonic Mania announcement trailer but for a fictional game called 'Shenmue Mania'. I teamed up with forum user SliverOfSand who provided background and sprite artwork, then I put everything together in After Effects and Premiere.The video went on to be a hit, quickly gaining over 200k impressions on Twitter and even being acknowledged and retweeted by the official SEGA account.
Vengeance - April Fools 2022
For 2022's April Fools, I created two pieces of key art for a fictional Netflix Original based on Shenmue. The top image shows a Chawan Sign, a mechanic from the game. The bottom image depicts the Phoenix Mirror and white leaf, two key items in the Shenmue story.
Lucky Hit - April Fools 2023
In 2023 we decided that we wanted to create a pretend dating app targeted towards Shenmue fans. The app is called Lucky Hit and the 'matching' mechanic is based on the minigame of the same name from Shenmue II.
Eric Kelso Mod Video (Animated Text Cards)
The Eric Kelso mod is a fanmade patch for Shenmue III. It replaces the voice acting for the character Ren with lines recorded by his original voice actor, Eric Kelso. This was a huge undertaking with multiple members of the community coming together to make it possible.I created the text cards seen in this announcement video.

Usage Rights
You may not resell my work in ways that are non-transformative.You may use my work to create merchandise like t-shirts or mugs, but you are not permitted to resell the raw digital assets, nor may you use them to create any kind of 'stock' resource.Outside of this rule, there are no restrictions. You are free to use and transform the delivered work in whatever way you see fit. This includes both commercial and non-commercial uses.Attribution is not required, but it is always appreciated.I retain the right to use delivered work to advertise my own services.
Previews, Revisions, and Delivery
Throughout the creative process, you will receive draft copies of the work. These copies will be watermarked and provided at a lower quality. All draft copies are for evaluation purposes only. You are not permitted to share or distribute them.You are invited to offer feedback and changes that you wish to see implemented. I am happy to provide multiple revisions as long as the requested changes fall into the agreed upon scope.Requested changes that go outside of the agreed scope of the project may incur an additional charge.
This is something that can be discussed and agreed upon on a case-by-case basis.Full quality, unwatermarked deliverables will only be provided upon full payment of the order.I do not distribute project files. This includes (but is not limited to) PSD, AI, PRPROJ, and AEP files.
Payment and Refund Information
When you get in touch, we will discuss your project and its scope to get a good understanding of what is required. After that, I will quote you a total price for the work.To begin your order, you will be required to pay a 50% deposit upfront. This amount will be deducted from your final invoice upon completion of your order. You will be billed in GBP via the Stripe platform.Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. If you decide at any point throughout the process that you no longer require my services and wish to cancel your order, your deposit will not be returned.Refunds are not offered on orders where any amount of completed work has been delivered.
A Note on Content ID Matches
If you are uploading on YouTube, it is possible that you may receive a Content ID match for parts of the audio. These claims can be fully cleared using the licence files delivered alongside your project.Click here for a guide to clearing Content ID matches
